United’s Duct Cleaning Program cleans heating and cooling system components of forced air systems such as:
- Heat exchangers
- Grilles and diffusers
- Condensate (drip pans)
- Fan motor and fan housing
- Heating and cooling coils
- Air handling unit housing
- The supply and return air ducts and registers
United follows NADCA‘s (National Air Duct Cleaners Association) standards for Air Duct Cleaning.
United also follows NAIMA‘s (North American Insulation Manufacturers Association) practice for cleaning air ducts with traces of fiber glass duct board. Duct cleaning is a component of United’s fully integrated preventative maintenance program.
United uses HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) vacuum systems, and if necessary, microbiology laboratory testing to identify mold. United will remove and replace all insulated air ducts that are moldy or wet and will identify the sources of mold and determine the best corrective action and preventive actions.
